about
"Million Times" is about a summer night to remember. We all have special moments in our lives, and we play those events over and over and over again in our minds. Shaky from not knowing how the night is going to go, growing with confidence and force as the evening goes on, by the end of the night we’re having so much fun we wished the sun didn’t have to come up so early.
lyrics
I'm standing in your kitchen
Drinking more wine, on a whim
I'm in an awkward spot here,
You move me from the failures of the day
Here's a toast to you all,
I lost myself
In your smile lines
I'm sitting at your table,
Fifteen-two, fifteen-four
Blue and white around the board
Maybe it wasn't past our better judgement
To know one more hand
Is one more conversation
I'll do it a million times
I'll do it a million times in my head
I'm in your adirondack
Shivering, pass the papers
Yeah I can roll
I'll relish in the moment
Keep this all to myself
I know you'll approve
'Cause you're doing it too
I’ll do it a million times
I’ll do it a million times in my head
I’ll do it a million times
I’ll do it a million times
Before I see you again

Hearing Trees takes you on a poetic narrative journey riding a tightrope between uncertainty and love, anchored by Graham
Hnatiuk’s warm baritone. Powerful chords and delicate guitar melodies float over highway-driving rhythms, carrying with it an anxious conviction of hopefulness....more

Juxtaposing poetic balladry with roaring feedback and warped piano lines, the Vermonter's music is as stunning as it is unsettling. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2024
